Community Guidelines
At BOOKSOPEN our main focus is to provide a safe and user friendly digital consumer marketplace where artists and service providers can have all the tools they need to give the best experience possible in an environment that is conducive to consumers educating, researching and booking a variety of different services.
We want artists and clients that use BOOKSOPEN to express themselves and to share content that is important to them with the freedom to control the content that they create but not at the expense of the safety and well-being of others. At BOOKSOPEN, we prioritize safety, diversity, inclusion, and authenticity, encouraging artists to get creative with how they market themselves and their work. Our community guidelines apply to everyone using the app and are built to ensure a safe community for everyone.
We ask that you agree not to engage in the conduct described below (or to facilitate or support others in doing so):
You may not use BOOKSOPEN to do or share anything:
That is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent.
That infringes or violates someone else's rights, including their intellectual property rights.
You may not upload viruses or malicious code or do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of BOOKSOPEN.
Harassment or bullying
We believe that people should be able to create, work and interact with each other without the fear of harassment or abuse
We remove all expressions of abuse, including threats or degrading statements intended to mock, humiliate, embarrass, intimidate, or hurt an individual.
Unnecessary nudity and any form of sexual activity
We believe in the importance in the freedom to create art and its showcase in a safe, respectful and consented environment
That is why we require all persons included in posts, images or any content to have consented to its use
Not receiving consent to post an image will result in an images removal and potential removal of account
Images that contain images of a service provided is permissable as long as the person has consented to its use, the image doesn't depict unnecessary nudity, any form of sexual activity
Any content that is uploaded into the BOOKSOPEN app requires the consent of the person used in the photo.
We can remove or restrict access to content that is in violation of these provisions.
If we remove content that you have shared in violation of the terms set out above, we'll let you know and explain any options you have to request another review, unless you seriously or repeatedly violate these terms or if doing so may expose us or others to legal liability; harm our community of users; compromise or interfere with the integrity or operation of any of our services, systems; where we are restricted due to technical limitations; or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons.
